I get gout from (drum roll please) … peaches. Glorious lovely fresh summer peaches which I love. Not only do I get unable to walk for a couple of weeks from the acute pain uric acid spikes. Easy to avoid and it goes away. Every summer I meander with the devil eating the forbidden fruit and when symptoms start in the foot joints I back off.

I first had RLS after I was put on an SSRI. The only thing I could do to make it stop was to exercise my legs intensely until they hurt so much that pain overshadowed the RLS . My legs got really exhausted and wanted to just rest. Unfortunately I banged my heels a lot during the leg abuse and gave myself plantar fasciitis. When I stopped taking the SSRI, the RLS occurred rarely. Xanax gets rid of it quickly. If Xanax doesn't get used very often it stays potent and doesn't lose its effect. Nyquil is another drug that causes serious RLS in me.

I had fallen down hard on both kneecaps. Due to caregiving for my husband I put off arthroscopic surgery for 2 years. By then I couldn’t climb stairs without shooting pain in my knees. Had the arthroscopic surgery done 5 years ago and found out I had 3 tears in my meniscus and quite a bit of arthritis. My knees felt very good after surgery and a few weeks of therapy. My R knee is just now starting to really bother me again.( pain and a feeling of weakness). Latest X-rays show arthritis hasn’t gotten much worse but orthopedic dr is concerned about the stability of my knee. He is recommending an MRI. Do you think I should try a few weeks of therapy first? 11:35

I had a a MRI done at HSS on 70th Street in NYC on June 14 2024. My doctor is Amar S. Ranawat. I saw my mri on line from HSS and I don't understand it. The hospital hasn't gotten back to me on my results. I am schedule for a full knee replacement on August 7 2024. I told them that I want to go to a rehabilitation for 10- to 12 day because my wife can't take of me. I read the results of the MRI but I don't understand it. I was thinking of PRP injections. I have a trip coming up in November 1 2024 and I want to be able to enjoy myself. What do you think?

Thank you so much for this video! I didn't realize an anal fissure could be naturally occurring. I have had one since I add an episiotomy during the birth of my son almost 35 years ago. It has healed and flared up more times than I can count. It's brutal! I eat a very healthy diet and drink lots of fluids, fortunately. It's very sad that I was given no information or education on the subject by my doctor, but, I have been muddling along and managing it. I'll be asking my family doctor for a topical rx asap. Again, I thank you so much for this info!

Anti freeze is ethylene glycol not propylene glycol. As a chemist the amount of disinformation in this video is disgusting. If you're vaping to quit smoking, as I am currently, run your vape at as low a wattage as you are comfortable with to limit the production of certain chemicals through reactions. Although the benzene statement is largely BS, especially if you're vaping VG rather then PG, and don't buy cheap vape juice. As for the acrolein, acetaldehyde and formaldehyde statements these are from studies of cheap unregulated vape juices. Spend the extra couple of £/$ and get it from reputable companies. If you're vaping when you were never a smoker then I really don't recommend you do it and never go near the disposable vapes because of what a waste of lithium batteries it is, plus the fire risk in waste disposal. I'm surprised these two are even Drs given how wrong they are. It will however take many more years of research to find out what the actual dangers of vaping are.

i totally disagree.I many years ago had a boot top tibia fracture due to a skiing accident. The fracture was fixed with a plate and screws and after about nine months i asked my surgeon should the hardware be removed and he asked me one question do you plan to ski again to which question i answered of course. He immediately said the plate and screws need to come out after that statement I asked why to which he answered if you break your leg again in the same place the hardware will cause serious damage to your leg and rupture vital arteries and therefore it needs to come out.I immediately said right on

I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my neck by my ortho doc. I had a severe burning sensation in my hand and the skin going down my arm was extremely sensitive to the touch. I was prescribed Prednisone and my arm started feeling a little better, but my hand still felt like it had been hit by a hammer with some shooting pains into my thumb and forefinger. Then I started getting vesicles on my thumb, which were not only very painful, but somewhat itchy. My wrist felt broken and the burning in my thumb turned to numbness. The vesicles also appeared on other fingers. While going through all this, I was on vacation and sprained my ankle! When i went to the ER, the nurse practitioner diagnosed me with shingles, but there was no blood test. I was prescribed 1,000mg/3x day which I am now taking and the vesicles are drying up and the pain is not as severe, although it's still very uncomfortable. I never want to go through this again. I did not have a lot of vesicles like shown in your picture. How can I be sure it was shingles and not something else. The thing is, while the vesicles really hurt, my skin hurt, I can't stand to touch anything or to be touched because it's so painful and I still have pain going up my arm. This all happened while I was away and I'm not sure if I should contact my primary care physician.
